Project week at Erne AG Holzbau

Stein (CH), 20-24.04.15

In 2015, the yearly project week of the 6. Semester timber engineers (BFH-AHB) toke place at Erne AG Holzbau. Within one week, interdisciplinary teams of engineers and architects choose to either develop a prototype for a façade element or to develop a bearing truss with a span of 8 – 15 meter. The designs should be fundamentally origin from the framework of automatized fabrication (e.g. connections and scale) and the use of digital data (e.g. form-design and differentiable parameter). At the end of the project week every team presented their prototype at the scale of 1:1.
