I found this solar clock on imgur a couple of weeks ago. Its a very nice way of engineering a clock. I guess that would be a nice taskfor a scripting workshop,or just having a amusement.

I guess most of you have already seen this amazing piece of “postwar” design. Nevertheless this great idea belongs posted here. The design is by Massoud Hassani from the Design Akademie Eindhoven. Just watch the video and enjoy the action.

After a long hibernation i am finaly back with some new posts. Starting with the nomination of the pavilion treehugger for the Deubau Award in 2014. Together with my former Professor Holger Hoffman (www.o-f-d.net), my fellow students Jan Weber, Eva Ziegler, Gabriel Wüstner, Jan Bunsemeyer and Frank Stolz from the university of applied science in Trier, we designed this pavilion for the chamber of skilled crafts in Koblenz. Of course i should have already added this project too my selected works, but you knowmy as a lazy person. U can get a good impression about the project on www.archdaily.com. Hopefully i will find some time to give you a proper documentation in the next weeks.
Keep you fingers crossed for treehugger
