This is a nice project by Prof. Gershon Elber, who developed a cad software to compute the actual geometry of paradox images by M.C. Escher
This seems like a very nice Plugin-tool for Rhino. I guess i have to try it out preety soon and make my own Quad. It realy can handle complex smooth shapes where Rhino comes to its limits.
